Mrs. Clayton's Classroom

My name is Crystal Clayton, and I teach 8th Grade Science and English Language Arts at Colony Oak. This is my sixth year in education and my first year as part of the Colony Oak community. I am truly excited to be here and look forward to supporting our students as they learn and grow.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Texas Woman’s University and later completed my teaching credentials and Master of Arts in Teaching through Western Governors University.

My husband and I have three children who are all very active in sports. Although we are Texas natives, our family relocated to Ripon in August 2023 and we are grateful to call this community home. We enjoy the beautiful weather and the many outdoor activities California has to offer. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, camping, and traveling. One of my children is currently a first grader at Colony Oak, and my older two attend schools within Ripon USD.
