Welcome To The Library!

My name is Kim Maberry and I'm the Colony Oak librarian. I've been an elementary school librarian for the past fourteen years. I have worked for Stockton Unified, Lammersville Unified, and now for Ripon Unified. Prior to working in the library I was a bilingual aide in San Jose and for four years I was a kindergarten aide for Ripon Unified. Fortunately, working in my current position  allows me to be able to work with the entire school population and not be limited to one class. I enjoy working with and reading to all ages.

 

Students in kindergarten through sixth grade make weekly class visits to the library and students in seventh and eighth grade visit the library as needed. Even though classes visit on a weekly basis students are welcome to visit more often on their own during recess, lunch or after school.

 

Homework help is offered in the library on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:00-3:00 pm. The library is open each day until 4:30.
